Right now, we are looking for UNIX/Linux Administrator to Accenture’s Infrastructure Organizations with locations in Gelsted (Primary) and in Kolding. You will be working in a unique challenging environment with primary focus on architecture and projects, but also operations and infrastructure task towards Accenture’s biggest ‘Outsourcing’ client. The partnership you will be a part of is a long-term partnership, which includes Management Applications outsourcing and Infrastructure Outsourcing. We not only maintain key business functions for our client, we constantly seek to improve them to help our clients develop their IT. We work according to Accenture’s delivery methods. Moreover, we leverage on our global network and combine our expertise in Funen and Jutland with experts from all over the world. As a UNIX/Linux Administrator you will be part of a team who is responsible for servicing a large number of UNIX and LINUX based servers. Their servers are based on HP servers with the HP Superdomes servers as the high-end servers. The primary usage of the servers is large ERP solutions such as SAP based on Oracle. Key Responsibilities may be: •Installation and support HP-UX and Linux (mainly SuSE) server systems •Configuration and support HP-UX and Linux cluster systems •Configuration and Support on Oracle, MySQL, etc. database systems •Configuration and support HP Storage (MSA/Lefthand/EVA/3PAR and P9500) •Support on SAN systems (Brocade) •Cross platform troubleshooting with other teams •To review and debug existing configurations and reports findings as necessary. •Responsiblility for ensuring that the documentation of all application configurations and customizations is kept current. To assist in the development of recommendations for the sizing of hardware for new and/or current applications based on performance and projected growth of the organization. •Relevant education and/or certifications within Linux/UNIX •Experience from an IT service- and -infrastructure environment •5+ years of work experience with Linux/UNIX e.g. as system administrator •Knowledge about and experience with some of the following products and technologies: •Oracle •Storage •ITIL •HP Dataprotector •Project oriented and relevant work experience with system implementations – from analysis to implementation •Experience with onshore/offshore cooperation The ability to be: •Driving and leading activities - you should be able to work independently as well as in teams •Able to keep focus in a dynamic and sometimes hectic environment •Consistently professional in approach – instinctively sociable in attitude •Service minded •Able to mobilize and motivate strength and enthusiasm in difficult situations Investing in you At Accenture we believe that quality comes from within and we invest considerable resources in the development of your professional competencies.
