Would you like to create completely new and exciting IT client user experiences that incorporate business needs and role behaviours to optimise efficiency across a large global organisation? Then join the Grundfos Information Services (IS) organisation and become the manager of the newly formed IS User Experience Center, where you will manage a diverse cross-organisational team, consisting of 12 technical IT colleagues plus external consultants. Moreover, you will be part of a Management team consisting of 5 dedicated managers. You will refer to Director of Infrastructure Operations, Søren Stjernholm. “Right now, the client experience is quite uniform Grundfos, but we have a bold goal of creating best-in-class differentiated user experiences, adapted to business needs and role behaviours. We need to look at how to materialise and present our IT services to different organisational entities, across a variety of form factors. Therefore, we are starting an exciting new journey to make brand new user experiences. This presents a paradigm shift in the way we work, and is an exciting challenge around change enablement” Søren says. Hvad drejer jobbet sig om? As Manager, you main focus is on creating and developing new client experiences through a winning combination of functionality and content for global roles in our organisation. Thus, you and your team work closely with other departments like “Global Working Culture” and “Collaboration Solutions”, in order to observe working patterns, create user case scenarios and materialise them in new client experiences. You will be accountable for materialising the results, through a collaborative, combined effort across the organisation. In 2015, we will also start exploring how the new Microsoft Windows 10 can further support our user experience roadmap. As Manager of the User Experience Center, you will be accountable for driving the entire lifecycle of new user experiences. You do so together with the Management team, and you are set to carry out a pioneer project in order to define how the user experiences can evolve, thus creating a roadmap for the next versions of the experiences. “Your challenge is to identify how departments differ in their use of our client in order to differentiate the experience, enable our IT staff to work aligned –towards a greater whole. The way our IT organisation is set up will not change from day one. But from the start, you will manage the colleagues who work with our current system and make decisions on which user experiences and devices we need to have in our portfolio,” Søren explains. Hvad skal der til for at ansøge? You have a degree in Computer Science and 6-8 years of experience in the technical IT industry. Furthermore, you have 2+ years of cross-functional management experience as well as comprehensive understanding and practice of business processes and realisation of business value. You also have minimum overall knowledge of Microsoft and SAP technologies. Having worked in a global, international company and with cultural diversity is a definite advantage. “As a person, you possess great leadership skills and are able to impact and influence your surroundings as well as make your colleagues follow your ideas. You have strong business acumen and a focus on innovation, combined with the ability to translate end-user needs into IT client experiences,” Søren finishes.
