That’s why we are building a new Digital Solutions Office in Valby, Denmark, and Chennai, India, where we are hiring for multiple new positions. Build our UX framework from scratch and set the standard for our digital solutions
In the newly established Digital Solutions Office, we are building a new digital framework by establishing a cloud infrastructure that can collect data and create insights on FLSmidth’s plants and equipment across the world. This will subsequently enable us to offer valuable new solutions to our customers – such as business insights and asset management solutions.
As our new UX specialist, you will be responsible for designing a unified and scalable user experience framework across multiple digital solutions and offerings that all future solutions can be built upon. Thus, you will act as the ambassador of our users as you:
• Collect and analyse user data by testing various components of the user experience and assessing the expected behaviour of end users across devices and applications
• Design and deliver wireframes, prototyping, mock-ups, detailed UI and visual design specification optimised for a wide range of devices and interfaces (including web, mobile, app, HMI, etc.)
• Create compelling user interfaces and experiences specifically for mobile devices as well as facilitate website optimisation
• Work closely with the architects and development team in the design of architecture, interface, and interaction flow across applications
• Collaborate with product managers, marketing and highly technical development teams to support product launches
You can choose to work from Valby, Denmark, or Chennai, India. You get to travel 40-60 days a year to visit external partners and participate in conferences globally or to collaborate with team colleagues in Chennai or Valby.
Job Requirements
UX designer with experience across devices and interfaces
• You have experience with designing user experiences across different devices and interfaces, and you have high proficiency in design and prototype tools and technologies.
• You have a relevant technical degree – at bachelor’s level as a minimum.
• You are fluent in English in both speech and writing.
As a person, you have the skills to communicate complex, interactive design concepts clearly and persuasively across both internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the UX standards are met across all solutions.
