About the department You will join our team Equipment & Quality, which is a part of the prototyping & test centre department in device R&D. Equipment & Quality is responsible for specifying, developing, manufacturing, purchasing, and validating new test equipment to support verification of medical devices, thus playing an important role in the device development process. We collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation striving for excellence in everything we do. The position In cooperation with our validation experts, you will develop validation documentation for new test equipment. Your primary tasks will be centred on creating the relevant documentation for our validations. Furthermore, you will challenge specifications and based on your experience and creativity, provide input to equipment improvements. You will be responsible for validation of equipment developed internally or externally according to predefined requirements. You will support all aspects of validation activities. You will evaluate equipment and processes, analyse collected data against pre-determined criteria, and prepare final reports in compliance with regulations, industrial practices, and Novo Nordisk policies and procedures. This includes you being the primary contact person for device R&D’s development projects. When parts of our projects are outsourced, you will be responsible for coordinating sub-contractor’s deliverables. The department is evolving within the field, which means that you will be expected to participate in the ongoing efforts to further develop our methodology within maintenance, test procedures, training, and validation of equipment. Qualifications Qualified candidates will at least hold a BSc in a Science, Technical or Engineering related field. You have at least one year of experience in validation and/or as a Test Engineer with equipment responsibility. You must have strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Experience in qualification and validation of test equipment (within computer, mechanical or similar systems) will be an advantage, as would experience in the execution of protocols. Your ability to structure, plan and manage your work will be a key factor to your success. You must be able to work independently and excel in a dynamic, hands-on department where things move at a fast pace and changes come rapidly.
