Innovation Management is part of the department Innovation and Architecture which guides and directs the future direction of the design philosophy and concepts for Vestas product range. To stay competitive and maintain the Technological leadership position in the market, Vestas needs a strong focus on efficient innovation. Innovation Management will ensure requirement based innovation across the value chain to enable growth potential in the future wind turbine market. A dedicated team will coordinate the direction based on market requirements and new internal and external possibilities, and thereby ensure efficient innovation in the relevant functional lines. Responsibilities: In the role as Value Chain Innovation Management Specialist your responsibilities will be to: •Be a change agent and secure capability building up within the functional line departments through sparring, coaching, engaging with key stakeholders and the implementation of an efficient innovation process. •Build an innovation culture across the organization. •Define and guide the metrics for innovation across the value chain. •Build and maintain technology roadmap from bottom up potential and topdown requirements. Qualifications: The ideal candidate has the following qualificaitons: •A relevant Master's degree most likely within engineering •More than 10 years of experience, preferably from R&D organizations, consultancy or manufacturing. •Exposure to a variety of engineering disciplines and competencies •Proven experience in managing teams or projects in cross-functional international organizations preferably across multiple sites. •Excelent management skills and knowledge of how to present technical material to peers in English. •Knowledge about wind turbines, relevant turbine systems and wind turbine design procedures. Several years of working experience in Vestas within one or more of these areas: •Manufacturing •Sourcing •Installation and commissioning •Operation and Service Competencies: The ideal candidate has the following personality: •Strong personality and cross functional leadership skills that secure the build-up of commitment and trustworthy relationships with internal and external partners in a global environment. •Structured, open minded and self-motivated. •Decisive and ability to drive and shape tasks. •Customer-oriented and the ability to understand the complete business value chain seen from a customer perspective. •Proactive, extrovert personality and ability to lead your surroundings with your communicative skills. •Strong business acumen as well as customer focused influencing skills. •Proven track record of demonstrated ability to make independent decisions and manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
