Job Description

Does becoming a team member of an international team developing innovative solutions based on SAP Variant Configuration LO-VC appeal to you? And are you motivated by ensuring configurator operations, supporting the organization in configurator questions and last but not least documenting concepts and processes?
 
Then you might be the Variant Configuration Consultant we are looking for in Danfoss Drives. You will join a team of competent colleagues and will be working with a wide range of the most current technologies in a dedicated business unit.
 
Configurator development with focus on business improvement
Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the configurator operations, and you will be the primary contact for the VC modelers in the business segments. More specifically, your tasks will be: 

• Perform configurator maintenance
• Identify and report gaps in configurator maintenance procedure
• Participate in process projects to improve business processes with configurator
• Develop and document new features and solutions based on the configurator
• Support the organization in configurator questions

In this role, you will work in a multi-cultural environment where you will have contacts across the global. Therefore, you need to master English – both written and oral.
 
Engineer with solid analytical skills and a sense of perspective 
As a minimum you have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or data engineering. You may have recently graduated or have a few years’ experience with SAP Variant from a large organization, and you are able to execute complex product modelling and data modelling within SAP Variant Configuration.
 
On a personal note, you have solid analytical abilities, are eager to learn and can embrace new technologies and processes fast. You are team player and known for your open mind and communicative approach enabling you to build relations and cooperate across cultures and geography. At the same time, you pay attention to detail and have a sense of quality permitting you to come up with the right solutions, and you are willing to make the necessary decisions.
