Clinical Pharmacology is part of Global Development. In Global Development we are responsible for managing clinical drug development worldwide from early development phases to product introduction. We ensure medical and scientific documentation for clinical submissions and authorities while ensuring that the process lives up to uniform global standards, regulations and business ethics. About the department The Clinical Pharmacology functional area comprises three departments supporting the entire Novo Nordisk development portfolio from first in man trials to registration. Overall, we are fifty dedicated and highly competent employees, primarily clinical pharmacologists, working in the area. We play a key role in the development of new drugs at Novo Nordisk. We work as an integrated part of the global development project teams, and we are operationally and scientifically responsible for the planning and execution of clinical pharmacology trials. We provide clinical pharmacology expertise to the overall development plans and during submissions and post-submissions phases. The job As Personal Assistant you will play a key role in the department with diverse assignments ranging from administrative tasks to independent coordination and follow-up. You will support with planning of meetings and seminars, preparation of agenda and minutes, preparation of power point presentations, travel arrangement and other ad hoc tasks. Furthermore your job tasks will include budget planning and financial controlling of the areas consolidated budgets. You will ensure that the department websites are updated. You will assist in general HR matters incl. recruitment of staff, and ensure that the department documentation is maintained in compliance with the Novo Nordisk standards. You will be member of the Clinical Pharmacology Management team and ensure that the meetings are successfully planned and executed. You will also be member of a cross functional Personal Assistant group and in this role participate in cross-functional collaboration and improvement initiatives. The job is based in Søborg. Qualifications It is required that you have an administrative education and minimum 4 years of relevant working experience in an international company. You demonstrate good business understanding and master professional communication skills. You have excellent budget management skills (Excel, SAP) and can take the lead on financial processes. It is an advantage if you have experience in working with SharePoint. You are reliable, loyal and service-minded. You have a can-do attitude, enjoy working under tight deadlines and master good coordination skills. You can work independently and always strive to find solutions to challenges at hand. You have solid IT skills and work in a structured manner with a sense for the details. You proactively take action and ownership for tasks and welcome new responsibilities. You have the ability and willingness to adjust quickly to new situations in a continuously developing environment. You are proficient in both written and spoken English.
