We are looking for a developer with experience in primarily Vuejs and Vuex for implementing a Mapbox-based, singlepage Dashboard from a pre-designed mockup (See picture). In the first round, we only need the main screen and a login screen developed. The finished solution from this project will act as an MVP - if work has been completed to satisfaction, we would like to hire you for further, continuous development.
The dashboard should have the following functionality:
- Faded dashboard in background with popover login box
- Main view with Mapbox integrated, showing location markers for each device
- The map should have a heatmap overlay showing one factor at a time, with the possibility of changing between various factors using the dropdown menu, including
- Pollution
- Noise
- Rain
- Temperature
- Light level
- If a device marker is clicked on, a pop-up should show the following information
- Device ID
- Location
- Current battery level in percentage
- Small time-series graph for battery level from the last 7 days
- Seconds/minutes since last measurement
- If a device marker is clicked, a horizontal bar should slide up from the bottom with 5 time-series graphs based on Chartjs showing measurement data from the last 7 days alongside current measurement values for that particular device
- Implement API calls for grabbing device and measurement data from existing backend, storing it locally in Vuex
We are looking for you to:
- Transform an interactive Adobe XD mockup into a functional, high-performance and visually pleasing dashboard using Vuejs, Mapbox and Chartjs that can be extended and built upon in the future.
- Develop fluid, pleasing animations for both time-series graphs and Mapbox overlays
- Be fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Execute assigned tasks and projects in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with internal team members on interfacing and requirements for existing backend
- Write clean and concise code focused on maintainability and extendability
- Be able to Identify and solve issues in code.
- Perform continuous functional, E2E testing during development
- Write documentation for the code and functionality of the designed solution.
- Apply best practices in responsive design, usability, accessibility and interactive design
- Use Git repository to regularly version and back up the code.
