- Production - Denmark - Hillerød The number of people with diabetes is increasing dramatically. Therefore, Novo Nordisk has initiated an exciting project to investigate the possibilities to expand the insulin filling capacity in Hillerød. The project will have a high degree of complexity with lots of cross organizational and global cooperation. To succeed with this ambitious project we need people with a pioneer spirit who like to build something completely new, with a high level of commitment and who thrive in a constant changing environment. About the department The production department in the project is responsible for purchasing, implementing, validating and manning the production equipment and processes for the new facility. The production department will have 4 teams: Wash & Sterilization, Formulation, Filling and Inspection. Each team will consist of 4-6 people in the beginning - growing to around 50 people. The job You will become Mechanic in the project, where you will collaborate with the Wash & Sterilisation team engineers, operators and consultants, contributing with your technical insight and secure that we have the maintenance, calibration and practical technical handling in mind. Therefore you will have great influence on the final outcome, where it is important that our new equipment will be as technical user-friendly as possible, while we still fulfil expected requirements and specifications. During the project phase, you are going to use the equipment with the help of operators when relevant during test activities at the new site, and also at the vendor, in order to ensure the appropriate technical and maintenance activities. You will also need to follow tests and fill test plans according to protocols, and secure that the project activities related to technical and maintenance activities of the equipment are fulfilled respecting deadlines and quality. You will have an important role in the creation of technical instructions and service cards which we will work with and follow strictly, when the production in our new filling facility begins. When the project is finished and we start the production, you will work in day, evening and night shifts that roll during the whole week. During the production your primary task will be to secure stable operation, perform maintenance and support calibration activities when relevant. Here you can do a huge difference due to you technical knowledge of the equipment, which you have acquired during the project phase, and you will also have important responsibilities within the training of your new colleagues. Expect about 6-10 weeks (about 45 days) of travelling and working abroad at vendor sites during the first two years of the project. Qualifications We expect that you are trained Mechanic, Aircraft Mechanic, Electrician or have completed a similar technical craftsmanship technical education. You have experience in a production environment, and it is an advantage if you have previously worked in cleanrooms and are familiar with GMP and SAP. We emphasize that you take responsibility and focus on the quality of your work. It is crucial that you are able to network, collaborate and work at a high professional level, both internally and externally. You are expected to work both independently and in teams to ensure buy-in from key stakeholders. As you will be part of the team starting up this area, in our project, you can look forward to working with a highly dedicated project team.
