For our Diagnostic R&D department at our Service head office in Brande, Denmark we are looking for a Web and Windows Developer. Diagnostic R&D develops software tools that enable our Service department to provide faster and cheaper service of a higher quality. The software tools support different aspects of Service areas, ranging from the handling of turbine stops to the communication with customers through our customer portal. What are my responsibilities? As a Web and Windows Developer you will participate in the development of software tools with the main purpose of optimizing the time and quality of turbine servicing and ensuring that energy costs are minimized. More specifically, your main responsibilities will cover: · Developing new web and Windows applications and SQL databases to support the Service business. · Maintaining and enhancing current applications and databases. · Participating in technology forums and considering recommendations for suggested solutions. · Resolving issues during the test and preparation phase until the product is active and subsequently during maintenance. · Reviewing implemented technical solutions, documenting lessons learned and recommending appropriate improvements. What do I need to qualify for this job? · You have an educational background as a systems developer, IT programmer, software engineer or similar, combined with a thorough knowledge of Web, Windows and SQL programming. · You have obtained high expertise in C#, VB.net, ASP.net, XML/XSLT and web services as well as object-oriented programming and web technologies such as AJAX, JavaScript, html, css, etc. In addition, you are an advanced designer of user interfaces and have experience with T-SQL and MS-SQL servers. · As a person, you are result-oriented, quality-conscious and have a structured and systematic approach to your work. You possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders. You thrive in a dynamic environment and are able to successfully work on multiple projects simultaneously and to manage priorities and meet deadlines. · Furthermore, you possess excellent English skills, both orally and in writing. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated. What else do I need to know?
