You will be part of the WCE TA & Governance Team, responsible for all well control equipment fleet wide. This includes well control equipment specification, development and audit of maintenance plans and documentation. The position will be based in Singapore, reporting back to the TO WCE Group Manager in Copenhagen. The section supports new building and modification projects managed by Technical Organisation. The section also handles smaller projects on the rigs in operation and provides operational support for electrical well control equipment. As Well Control Equipment Maintenance Superintendent you will be the driving force for improvement and change in the way the company manages well control equipment. You will be working in support of assets around the world, manage your own projects in close corporation with the rest of the section and also participate as project team member on larger projects. Key Responsibilities As Well Control Equipment Maintenance Superintendent, you build a strong relationship with the regional Subsea/BOP Superintendents, Maintenance and Rig Teams. You participate in yard stay and upgrade projects, new installations and modifications to existing MODU’s as required, e.g. to perform above mentioned duties or to ensure implementation of operational and maintenance improvements in all matters within your area. Further, it is your job to obtain and maintain knowledge of relevant rules, regulations and standards within areas of responsibility as well as general knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the key areas and perform specialist duty on agreed selected areas. It will be your responsibility to develop and continuously update all Planned Maintenance scopes (PMS) for well control equipment, actively promoting the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) concepts towards manufacturers, and identifying condition monitoring techniques for use in Operations. Finally, you participate in company training initiatives, technical training courses and maintenance seminars. Who we are looking for You have a background as Maintenance Engineer or similar and have gained experience through assignments within the industry. You have good IT skills as well as experience with SAP and other maintenance planning software. Key to the position will be your ability to build strong relations to regional Subsea / BOP Superintendents and Rig Teams and liase with various departments in Maersk Drilling. You are strong decision maker, essentially being able to ensure that in all matters economic and business like assessment are made prior to decision so that operations are executed with the utmost efficiency.
