Would you like to be responsible for managing all technical aspects related to the wind turbines on one of our large offshore wind farms? Join DONG Energy and become Technical Project Manager in the Wind Turbines - Engineering Management department. We are responsible for managing the technical delivery of wind turbines on our wind farm projects. The department is part of Wind Power, which has 1400 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world’s largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe. You may choose freely to be based either at one of our Danish offices in Skærbæk near Fredericia or in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area or alternatively in our Hamburg office in Germany on local terms and conditions. You should expect some travelling in relation to your work. Areas of responsibility As Technical Project Manager, you are responsible for the management of the technical part of the wind turbine supply within scope, quality, human resource, communication, risk, HSE, and procurement management. Moreover, you will lead technical discussions with our suppliers and manage employer's requirements related to the delivery of the technical solutions. Furthermore, your key duties will be to: handle quality assurance and quality control of design solutions manage technical interfaces to foundations, electrical systems and operations deliver WTG related parts of the certification package deliver the technical documentation participate in negotiation of contracts, including variation orders and claims. Your profile You hold a master of science degree in engineering or similar and have some experience with project management. Preferably, you have a PMP certification or similar. Further, your skills and knowledge lie within a combination of wind turbine technology, offshore construction projects, and contract management. In the projects, you cooperate with colleagues with varying backgrounds and across different organisational levels. Thus, excellent leadership and communication skills, verbally and in writing, combined with strong interpersonal skills are key to succeed in this position.
