Chr. Hansen is looking for a new Business Manager with minimum 5-10 years management experience to lead our Scandinavian Dairy sales team. Our new Business Manager is expected to have a strong dairy industry experience and will be leading our technical sales team consisting of account managers and application experts. 

Chr. Hansen’s sales team focus on driving and prepare customer projects, conduct and evaluate in-field demonstrations at customer’s sites, recommend technical solutions and support with technical service.
 

Responsibilities & background
You will be trained in our internal sales excellence procedures, and become part of a dynamic team in an existing international setting. Our aim is to be innovative and drive sales excellence to prove the highest values for our customers. 

Your main tasks: 

• You will lead a team of Account Managers that drive the sales process in Scandinavia
• You will be part of a European network of Business Managers where you will be participating and represent the Scandinavian market
• You will be trained to execute sales excellence strategies and marketing concepts at customer level
• Participate in long-term account planning in collaboration with a Key Account Manager and sales representatives.
• Provide feedback and input to long-term segment strategies and business acceleration. 
• Participate in internal trainings and marketing meetings and relevant industry forums and fairs.
• Liaise with Commercial Development and Innovation Dept. to meet local sales objectives and give feedback for future innovation needs

 

Your personal profile: 

• Excellent technical understanding with a relevant technical degree and preferably some years of experience within the Scandinavian dairy industry.
• Proactive with a self-driven and ‘can do’ attitude to solve various tasks.
• Disciplined and willing to learn and upgrade know-how in relevant applications and strategies
• Understand the need to share and learn from best practices across regions and teams. 
• Accurate, respectful of deadlines and able to implement changes.
• Comfortable in customer interactions and in large forums
• Ability and willingness to work on administrative tasks on Microsoft Office/Web based platforms, including reporting and project monitoring.
• You like to travel up to 50% of your working time, mainly within Scandinavian countries.
• You have excellent English and Swedish/Danish/Norwegian Language skills both spoken and written.
• Experience with cultures or enzymes within the industry and responsibility for top line growth is an advantage.
