Are you passionate about quality assurance for defence products that are used all over the world? Would you like to take the lead on our journey with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery? If so, we have the perfect job for you.

You are the expert who sets the course
As a specialist and Senior Test Engineer, you will make your mark on the entire Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery process in our Defence Unit, all the way from automating testing and setting up build environments through to configuration management. We have embarked on a journey with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery, for which you will be our flag-bearer, setting the course of our work with the processes in our Defence Unit. You will work across the spectrum of our defence products, which make a difference to soldiers in the field each and every day. In your day-to-day work you will be part of the Quality Assurance department, working in the newly created Automation Test team. In addition to your team colleagues, you will work with colleagues within different subject areas right across the Defence Unit.

Here is a taste of what you will be doing:

• Designing and building autotest frameworks that facilitate improved system testing and integration testing
• Integrating test framework into the build pipeline and thereby ensuring shorter feedback loops
• Ensuring that automation test results are visible
• Co-operating with autotesters across the spectrum of the Defence Unit's products to enhance the uniform use of tools
• Reviewing automated testing and maintaining high test quality
• Discussing ideas with Test Developers and specialists to improve automated test frameworks
• Defining the automation roadmap in co-operation with Architects and Test Managers

A technically skilled and experienced specialist
Our ideal candidate will be someone who has a background as a Computer Scientist, Engineer, or similar role, with a minimum of five years' experience with Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and DevOps. You know how to set up good environments and have expert knowledge when it comes to selecting, evaluating, and implementing new tools and frameworks. ISTQB certification is an advantage.

On a personal level, you are proactive and are able to apply your skills in order to make any improvements that may be necessary. You dare to challenge processes, stand up for what you think, and have the knack of asking the right questions to ensure consistently high quality. You approach your work analytically and systematically, and enjoy seeing your work being used by all the different teams that make up our Defence Unit. Additionally, you are a team player who enjoys communicating and building relationships with your colleagues.

You have an interest in and experience with:

• Java
• JavaScript
• Scala
• Angular
• C#
• Selenium

Last but not least, you speak and write fluent English.
