We're looking for our co-founding soulmate - a bright and ambitious software engineer to build the MVP and take charge of the technical side as a Lead Developer and CTO. We want you to love the business as much as we do. We are a startup at an early but exciting stage and we're here to make a big splash in the MaritimeTech scene and break conventions in operational safety and how technologies are used on ships to plan operations and prevent accidents and incidents.
As a CTO & Lead Developer you'll lead a team to build the MVP for our core product - Safety Management System. You will own all aspects of technology and work across all stages of the product life-cycle and shape the tech stack. We are particularly attracted to leaders and doers and as an early employee you will help us shape both the company, the culture, and the approach to development You will also be responsible for growing your team.
Our key areas of interest for the project include:
· Automate workflows: digitalize operation planning and task management
· Predictive analytics: using operational data to track, analyze and predict operational risks
· Machine learning: developing models to enhance risk prediction
· Incident reporting & user experience: drive high user engagement and reporting
About you
Ruby/Python + React, JS, CSS, HTML developer with experience building web and mobile applications
Full-stack experience including various database setups
You’ve built and shipped B2B products
Experience establishing and managing automated testing and code quality
You’re a team leader with demonstrated experience building and manage high performing tech teams
Experience architecting and implementing API services
Great communicator with the ability to reduce complex problems to simple solutions quickly and consistently
You’re excited about the digital safety management system and what we are building.
