Are you looking to develop a real time big data stack from the ground up?
This is a great opportunity to join our newly established data engineering team. The team is responsible for capturing, processing and serving real time data on athlete performance from our cutting edge radar and vision based tracking technology. Our products are used by some of the best athletes in the world.
Our team is building high performance and flexible data tools and cloud services to empower our machine learning, business intelligence and application development teams, enabling them to focus on delivering compelling product experiences. We focus on the problem of running cloud operations at scale with a lean team using automation and the latest data frameworks and cloud technologies.
Are you our new colleague?
You have hands on experience setting up and running data technologies on Azure or AWS cloud. Your deep focus is the reliability and performance of the solutions and you are always thinking about how to drive greater certainty through automation and continuous integration. You are comfortable contributing to the design and architecture of our solutions by researching and rapidly testing new technologies and you are also ready to support developing our DevOps processes and tools.
Additionally, you have experience working closely with product owners using agile methodologies to capture expectations and designing solutions to meet their needs.
Requirements
- A technical educational background in Computer Science or equivalent
- DevOps experience with cloud providers Azure and AWS
- Working knowledge of serverless compute and cloud based NoSQL and data warehouse solutions
- Experience setting up and maintaining continuous integration dev stacks
- Experience writing SQL and data processing in Python
