We, Sennheiser Communications, are growing and do so especially fast in our Manufacturing team. Here, our current Document Control Specialist needs you to share the daily tasks with!

The area

Sennheiser Communications develops headset solutions at our headquarters in Ballerup (Copenhagen). We are looking for a Document Control Specialist to join the Manufacturing team that is part of the wider Supply Chain & Logistics department. The team consists of 7 people and is key to ensuring that production is running at our suppliers worldwide.

 

Your role

We would like you to become our Arena superuser, who will continuously improve the system to support development, product management, supply chain, compliance, and regulatory processes. Joining in this role, you will have an experienced colleague and mentor, who has known the PLM system Arena from the very moment that we launched it 3 years ago.

You will specifically be responsible for processing product and product related documents in our PLM system in compliance with established procedures. This includes supporting the structure and handling of documentation in connection to R&D projects, Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and input from other stakeholders.  You will lead training to educate teams on proper document control and perform internal documentation audits to ensure the accuracy of our system. In short, you will oversee:

• Registration of documentation in Arena
• Support to Project Managers and R&D department
• Drive accuracy across all documentation (verification of cohesiveness & formatting)
• Supporting development of processes related to documentation
• Support organization in use of Arena

 

Your profile

Handling documentation from various departments (most of it derives from Mechanical and hardware Engineering), you are the link between our R&D organization and manufacturing. Therefore, you should ideally bring technical understanding and a keen sense for details and documentation processing skills. We imagine that you have:

• Technical background e.g. as technical assistant
• Technical understanding of mechanical and hardware design
• Experienced with PLM Data management and handling of documentation
• Experienced with Arena or other PLM system
• A sense for structure, detail and meaningful processes
• Written and spoken English are a requirement (it is our company language)
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to support cross-functionally
