Head of Procurement Strategy & Capability Building

Can you lead the strategic development and delivery of world-class capabilities across our Procurement organisation? 

Join us and become Head of Procurement Strategy & Capability Building in Ørsted Procurement & Product Lines where you’ll be responsible for identifying, planning and fulfilling the global organisational needs for procurement-related capability building together with your approx. 55 colleagues across our Procurement Excellence organisation. Managing a team of two-three employees, you’ll collaborate closely with senior management as well as colleagues at various levels across Procurement.

 

Your key tasks will be to

• develop and manage our capability building strategies as well as to link capability building, ways of working and performance
• maintain and improve the Ørsted Procurement Academy which is our internal training programme
• spar strategically on organisational development with senior management
• administer and drive the Procurement Graduate Programme with the aim of attracting the right graduate profiles
• ensure development of our Procurement career tracks, including developing relevant capability profiles and providing content to the various educational programmes
• lead performance in and be responsible for the results of the Capability Building team. 

Furthermore, you’ll ensure best practice procurement concepts, including development of templates and implementation in the procurement organisation.

 

Your competences include that you

• have a strong track record in demonstrating development of capabilities in procurement organisations
• can identify, plan and execute improvement initiatives in a structured manner and can turn strategy and ideas into concrete initiatives
• can set an agenda and communicate clearly
• have a sense of ownership and a strong drive to get the right things done, also under pressure
• speak and write English fluently.

 

Furthermore, you have a high level of integrity, and you don’t compromise on doing the right things. You also thrive in an international environment and are able to create good relationships with your external and internal stakeholders.
