Are you looking for an exciting student developer job in the gaming industry?
Better Collective is an international award-winning company working to give punters and players a better and more secure igaming experience. We are producing outstanding sports betting content and igaming products that go far beyond the usual standards.
THE ROLE
The daily job will include maintaining, developing and further improving our native data collection application built on Laravel, MySQL, Phantomjs, and Puppeteer. This includes, among other, optimizing the system by increasing its performance, reducing errors and integrating new metrics.
Moreover there can be various tasks of helping your colleagues with database queries, explaining and extracting data, etc.
You’ll be working closely with our two developers and the rest of the BI & Data Science department.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintaining, developing and further improving our native data collecting application
- Implementing new features and fixing bugs
- Monitoring of accounts that need attention
- Performing quality control to ensure consistent numbers
- Various ad hoc tasks
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Is truly enthusiastic about data collection and quality control
- Has a structured approach to assignments, a high level of responsibility, and a desire to learn
- Has experience in programming, especially PHP, Javascript and SQL
- Has a well-founded knowledge of relational databases (MySQL)
- Knows his/her way around a unix terminal
- Knows how to use git (version control system)
