Take this opportunity to shape a global brand identity from scratch and follow through on the direction to see the results pay off in the markets – all for a new business unit within the VELUX Group.Your challenges

You will be the overall responsible for marketing in the new business unit. While this is a highly independent role, you will need to collaborate with various departments and sales companies across the VELUX Group to succeed. Working hands-on with the entire marketing toolbox while also managing projects supported by the VELUX Marketing team and external agencies, you will be responsible for:

• Developing and implementing winning brand identity and content marketing strategy
• Ensuring the quality of the overall product portfolio communication and that it is anchored in consumer and customer insights
• Defining and utilizing the relevant media channels, using web analytics and creating appealing content
• Executing campaigns and developing PR material
• New product launches in collaboration with the product manager

We will start out marketing the brand in a European country and will eventually take it to global roll-out. As you will be part of a global organisation, you can expect to travel approx. 35 days a year.

Your qualifications

As a person, you have a can-do attitude, an inexhaustible drive to take on new challenges and an engagement level ensuring that you follow things through, all the way from direction setting to execution.  You have a proven track record demonstrating strong results within the marketing field. Preferably in a similar entrepreneurial setting. We imagine that you:

• Have experience with brand building and are passionate and knowledgeable about content marketing, and it is a strong plus if you have demonstrated your ability to support powerful product launches
• Thrive in an independent role, while you are not afraid to reach out to colleagues across our global organisation
• Communicate effortlessly in English

Your opportunitiesYou will be the first marketing professional joining the team, but we do not expect you to be the last. Thus, you get to set the direction for and implement our marketing efforts, and perhaps with time, shape your own position and recruit and manage new marketing team members.
