About the department 
The Payroll Department is part of Corporate Accounting, a unit in Corporate Finance at Novo Nordisk. The two teams in the Payroll department, Payroll IT & Quality and Payroll Support, handle monthly salary for app. 18,000 employees in Novo Nordisk, NNE, Scandinavia, NN Region Europe, Novo Nordisk PharmaTech, Novo A/S and Novo Foundation.

 
You get the opportunity to join a well-organized department with strong focus on quality and digitalisation in Bagsværd, Denmark. In close collaboration with key internal stakeholders in Corporate Accounting and People Support, we secure timely, correct and efficient payroll.
 
The Payroll department continuously strives to optimize and automate our process.

 
The position 
As Payroll Supporter you will be part of a department of 18 employees that on a daily basis strive to perform correct payroll run and give an excellent customer service to the app. 18.000 employees we do run salary for.

You will support optimisation and digitalisation of our processes as well as perform important and value adding tasks within Payroll.

Your time will furthermore be spent on delivering general support to your colleagues and thereby you will get the opportunity to know the tasks and process in a payroll team more in depth.

You will support development of written standards as an important foundation for our digitalisation journey, which e.g. entails implementation of a robot.

• Period: 10 months
• Working hours: full time
• Start date: 1 November 2018 or as soon as possible
• A Danish full time work permit is required

 

Qualifications 
We are looking for an employee with a passion for optimising and digitalisation of processes. Your IT skills are strong. Furthermore you are preferably passionate about how to secure high quality payroll runs.

We expect you to master both English and Danish, verbally as well as in writing, that you have the skills to handle a large volume of tasks (with supervision) and the sound personal judgment to make wise decisions.

 
As a person, you are outgoing with a strong personal drive and dedication. Your strong interpersonal skills assist you in creating trustful relations across professions and geography, and you bring a healthy sense of humor to your work – even when the pressure is on. We expect you to be service minded, that you thrive in a busy environment and that you are great at focusing on solutions and opportunities.
