About the position

We are looking for a dedicated PLM Systems Specialist to join the Systems- and Documentation department. The department is part of Offshore Operations Technology and Standards which is responsible for enabling and supporting production of offshore wind turbine blades and nacelles.
The Systems - and Documentation department is responsible for defining and enabling the business to use business processes like Engineering Change Management (ECM), Documentation Management Systems (DMS), Materials Management etc. incl. supporting IT systems within offshore operations.
The department consists of employees specialized within the above-mentioned functions who define the business processes, create user guides, prepare training material, conduct training, offer daily support to key-users and facilitate key-user communities etc.

What are my responsibilities?

  • Advanced key-user for TechPub Studio (TPS) as Content Management System (CMS).
  • Define business processes for the use of TPS within OF OPS.
  • Participate in internal roll-out project for TPS incl. migration of content from e.g. Microsoft Word.
  • Back-office support for key-users/users within the organization.
  • Prepare user guides, training materials and perform training of end users.
  • Identify, test, document and roll-out potential business process improvements supported by TPS and related IT applications.
  • Participate in internal business process improvement projects.
  • Create IT demands to enable new/modified functionality needed in the business processes.
  • Test new releases of applications.
  • Lead a key-user community for e.g. TPS within OF OPS.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • Preferably experience with TechPub Studio or alternatively experience from other similar CMS systems that supports similar processes.
  • A strong benefit would be competences within XML, XSLT, HTML5, JavaScript and CSS3 to develop stylesheets in TechPub Studio.
  • Strong understanding of Document- and Content Management principles and systems.
  • Understanding the fundamental values of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
  • Business level English (speaking and writing)
  • Advanced user of MS Office with strong flair for IT tools and systems in general
  • Outgoing, flexible, self-driven and proactive personality, capable of multitasking, structuring own work assignments and meeting deadlines
  • Able to communicate and collaborate with people across all organizational levels
  • Having a holistic approach whilst focusing on the details
  • You thrive in a large and dynamic organization with colleagues from all over the world
  • A supportive and service-minded approach to your colleagues and ownership mentality towards Siemens Gamesa
