Can you inspire and capture the interest of the press and the consumer through PR activities on a global level? For our JACK & JONES marketing team, we are looking for a PR Responsible who can plan and execute various global PR and communication initiatives, while our colleague is on maternity leave.
The department
You become part of the international JACK & JONES marketing team, reporting into the brand's strategic marketing manager. The marketing team consists of 12 colleagues who form a versatile department handling all B2B and B2C marketing and communication for JACK & JONES, including international campaigns, wholesale and retail marketing, sponsorships and PR. Our team atmosphere is informal, and we like to have fun together, both in- and outside the workplace.
The position
You are the main contact person for all JACK & JONES' PR-related initiatives - everything from sparring to execution both internationally and nationally.
Your primary responsibility will be to drive JACK & JONES' PR activities on a global level, ranging from developing our PR strategy, planning initiatives, execution and follow-up on implementation in the markets. You do this together with the PR coordinator in the team, in accordance to timings and in compliance with budgets. Secondly, you support media- and PR-related video and image productions and collaborate with our Sponsorship team in relation to our international sponsorships.
Moreover, you keep the organisation up-to-date on important internal communication topics - in alignment with the strategic marketing manager and JACK & JONES' management. Lastly, you ensure that the press always has access to our latest imagery and content, and you track performance of our PR initiatives through our digital tracking tools.
In this way, you will have a wide array of tasks and a lot of responsibility in your job - across markets and departments.
Among these, your tasks will include:
- Establishing and maintaining relations and collaborations with, among others, fashion editors, influencers and other media
- Ensuring the initiation and follow-up of PR activities in close collaboration with the markets
- Assisting in copywriting and proofreading
- Developing press material, including issuing press releases and content
- Organising PR events
- Ongoing reporting of our press send outs' performance.
Qualifications
- Education within communication, marketing or similar
- Several years of experience with PR on an international level
- Good understanding of content development and media production processes - you know how to capture a message/story in video and images
- Experience with reporting on key figures as well as setting and following up on budgets
- Proven experience with project management or great organisation skills
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Experience with the fashion industry is an advantage, but not a requirement
- Good commercial acumen is a must.
