About the position

For our IT PLM department in Brande, Denmark, we are looking for an experienced product simulation solution architect. Siemens Wind Power is at the moment having a big footprint in the area of product simulation and we would like to build an IT architecture for the digitalization strategy at SGRE. We are looking for a candidate that can lead the continuously increasing interaction between the various simulation systems including a future integration to our PLM system, Teamcenter. You would also be contributing to other PLM projects where simulation lifecycles are impacted.

What are my responsibilities?

  • Maintain and enhance the current Simulation system landscape

  • Prepare and lead the Product Simulation Roadmap for Wind Power

  • Ensure alignment internally in IT and Business stakeholders related to Product Simulation Systems

  • Define functional specifications for interfacing solutions

  • Responsible for the solution architecture of all simulation systems

  • Evaluate, plan and architect solutions based on business requirements

 What do I need to qualify for this job?

  •  You need to have a skillset obtained by playing a role in a large corporation

  • Experience in utilizing high end product simulation tools like ANSYS and NX Nastran/Siemens Simcenter

  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with ANSYS and/or NX Nastran

  • Previous experience in capturing requirements from large organization and architecting value creating solutions for the business. The experience could also come from a Teamcenter PLM/CAD career, with architecture touch points towards the simulation domain

  • You need to have extensive technical knowledge of the system capabilities and experience in enabling the software to create value in the organization

  • A deep understanding of engineering simulation processes in a modern enterprise

  • You need to be able to communicate on all levels of the organization and with many stakeholders within IT and Business

  • You are an excellent and persuasive communicator and fluent in both spoken and written English

  • Knowledge of Engineering processes

  • Understanding of ANSYS suite

  • Knowledge of simulation management in PLM Systems

  • Familiar with Hardware setup of simulation clusters (Windows/Linux)

  • Understanding of the entire Product Life Cycle value chain in enterprise environments.

  • Understanding Master data principles and lifecycles
