Can you lead the implementation of a new global Capacity Management Planning Process?

LEO Pharma has set out to become the world’s preferred dermatology care partner. To make this come true we are building the Supply Chain set up and way of working for the future – and that is why we need you and all of your skills across project management and supply chain planning.

The Capacity Management Project is a highly business critical project and a key part of building our new global supply chain organisation. You will work with full attention and back up from top management in a role with influence, impact and learning opportunities far beyond the average.

 Build project plans, lead project teams and manage multiple stakeholders

Your objective is to enable LEO Pharma to gain best possible overview and control of our production capacity across production sites in Denmark, France, Ireland and Italy. We will be redefining our planning processes on Capacity Management in the strategic, tactical and operational horizon.

The project is divided into the five sub projects stated in the bullet points below. You will manage those in close collaboration with another Project Manager. The project length is estimated to be 1,5-2 years involving multiple stakeholders across the organisation and 50 colleagues within the planning organisation. Your primary tasks will be to develop, build and implement:

• A Global Capacity Policy with clear capacity definition
• A Global Capacity Master Data Governance Model 
• A Global Strategic Capacity Planning Process 
• A Global Tactical Planning Process managed locally at production sites
• An Operational Planning Process with strong integration to shop floor execution managed locally at production sites

Across the projects you will build and maintain project plans, build and lead project teams, and collaborate with the other Project Managers across the total program to manage dependencies between the program projects.

You will ensure definition and documentation of the future way of working with capacity planning including planning system and functionalities, planning parameters, governance model, and metrics. You will build and execute plan for training and implementation. You play a key role in securing the implementation and adoption to the new way of working, and communication to stakeholders, business process owner and planners is critical for success.

You can expect to travel up to 5-10 days per month in specific periods to our production sites in France, Ireland and Italy as project work will take place both in Ballerup and on sites.

 Solid project management and planning experience

You must bring at least 5 years’ experience from managing multi stakeholder, cross-functional projects with a Supply Chain perspective. You are especially well founded within Supply Network Planning and Production Planning / Detailed Scheduling. To succeed, you must be analytical and have a highly structured way of working to keep focus and overview while at the same time be able to create results in an ever changing environment.

Just as important is your stakeholder management skills. One thing is to design and develop a new planning set up including new systems, processes and tools. Making the planning teams across sites embrace and take ownership is a difficult exercise. This calls for your superb communication skills and your understanding of how to motivate and energise colleagues with very different professional and cultural backgrounds.
