We are looking for a Retail Chain Manager to support and challenge our retail partners to achieve operational success and ensure an optimal performance in our stores. About the team and the job

You will become part of our Retail Chain Manager team with colleagues from all around Europe. You will be in close collaboration with our Retail organisation, including Business Development, Visual Merchandising & Training, Construction and Marketing.

In VERO MODA Retail we are responsible for the collaboration with all our retail partners to ensure a continuous development of and follow-up on operation, buying, shop standard and store front concepts. As our new Retail Chain Manager, your primary responsibility is to collaborate with retail partners in our ROW ("Rest Of World") category, which, among others, includes Canada, the Philippines and Lithuania where we have a solid retail presence but plenty of room for expansion.

More specifically, your areas of responsibility will include:

• Development of our VERO MODA retail chain, measured on the ability to create revenue progress as well as ensuring a profitable chain operation for our partners
• Ensuring collaboration and follow-up with our retail partners regarding activity plans, budget and performance
• Collaborating with various stakeholders in Sales, Merchandising, Concept Training and Concept Development to ensure the optimal partner support and concept implementation
• Implementation of store openings and renovations - from design to store - in cooperation with suppliers and the retail partners
• Preparing promotional activity plans for each market
• Seeking out new market and expansion opportunities
• Participating in the buying process as well as monitoring of correspondence between supply and demand.

An exciting part of this position concerns the travel activities to various business partners around the world, and you should expect approximately 50-80 travel days per year.

Qualifications

We imagine that you have a commercially founded educational background combined with solid retail experience from a similar position.

In addition, we imagine that you:

• Are an experienced retailer, preferably with a background within operational chain management
• Have experience with KPIs and budgets
• Have experience and proven success with concept implementation
• Have experience with franchise and partner business
• Are fluent in English, written and spoken - other language skills will serve as an advantage.
