Hesehus is Denmark’s leading e-commerce solution provider specialized in the development of customer-specific B2B and B2C webshops. We deliver customer solutions from the market’s most complete e-commerce platform, Bizzkit - developed internally in Hesehus.

You will become a part of a large developer environment, that consist of more than 60 dedicated and highly qualified developers and architects. You will be placed on our international platform team, Bizzkit, that currently consists of two backend developers, one frontend developer, one full-stack developer, a software architect, a solution architect, a QA-specialist, a software product manager and soon a technical project manager. Although, our company language is Danish, our Bizzkit team speaks English every day because of the team’s diverse nationalities. However, as a way of integrating our international developers, we offer free Danish lessons inhouse.

Your primary tasks:

  • Producing high quality code and developing new features to our platform products. 
  • Pick up a task and take responsibility for end-to-end development - from backend to frontend.
  • Decomposing complex requirements from platform partners and customers into smaller and deliverable solutions with respect to the product constraints. 
  • Assess viability of new requirements and offer alternative solutions.
  • Testing both your backend and frontend code though automated as well as manual means.
  • Code review.
  • Troubleshoot issues in a responsible way.
  • Code versioning and conflict resolution in Git.  

Who are you?  

You are passionate about web development and have at least five years experience working as a full-stack developer picking up tasks and ensuring end-to-end development from backend to frontend. You have extensive experience working with modern frontend frameworks and you are motivated by finding the best solution that combines customer value, quality and scope. Preferably, you have an education within IT, but most importantly is your level of expertise and not the right exam papers.   

Need to have:

  • Solid experience with JavaScript ES6, Typescript, HTML5 and CSS3.
  • Extensive knowledge of one or multiple modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Aurelia etc.
  • Experience with frontend and backend automated testing. 
  • Good knowledge of CSS preprocessors like SASS or Less.
  • An eye for designing and styling responsive- and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Experience with .NET, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, C# and SQL Server.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with WebSockets, SignalR and Elasticsearch
  • Basic understanding and setup of Webpack projects.
  • Being able to setup and maintain APIs using ASP.NET Web API and .NET Core.
  • Understanding of Git and AJAX.
  • Domain knowledge within B2B and B2C e-commerce.
