The position 

Do you have solid professional experience making videos and animations that inspire and enlighten?   We’re looking for a creative force in film production who can visualize and define the style and structure of Milestone videos and truly bring our brand to life.    This role encompasses all parts of the production process. You will be expected to collaborate with other storytellers, be a camera operator, a sound and light technician, and an editor - everything that’s included in delivering a final video or animation.   At Milestone, we help the world see through our Video Management Solutions. Role & Responsibilities

Responsible for: 

• Being the creative force in a video production - visualizing and defining the style and structure of the video, then bringing it to life to support our commercial objectives 
• Handling the process from understanding and challenging the creative brief, the story, development, production through to the final video/animation product 
• E everything from finding the right storyline, support screen writing, storyboarding, camera operation, sound effects, music, lighting, editing, etc. 
• Co-developing the storyline and script, often together with the Creative Writer and/or the Creative Producer 
• Concepting both on your own and in collaboration with other creatives 
• Preparing and operating the camera and all its equipment including lighting and sound 
• Completing projects on brief, time and within budget 

 Qualifications and Requirements

• Extensive experience in moving-picture storytelling, production and production planning: The Senior Video and Animation Artist is responsible for producing videos and animations. The person will work on videos/infomercials through all stages of the production process  
• Solid experience with After Effects and ability to use motion graphics in a beautiful way as a storytelling tool 
• Deep knowledge in editing software packages (e.g., Premiere, Blackmagic Davinci Resolve Studio [MK1] or similar) 
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with changing priorities to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment 
• Has a deep understanding of how to apply compelling storytelling to different media platforms and audiences to support the business 
• Has strong brainstorming and collaborative abilities as well as conceptual development skills 
• Ability to understand very technical products/issues and translate this to a message/design that is easy to understand 
• Excels at motivating other creatives and contributing with knowledge-sharing, supporting and teaching other colleagues with your solid skillset 
• Is fluent in English, both spoken and written
