Then you could be our new Sourcing Project Manager in Power Solution’s Global Procurement Organisation.
 
You will be part of a global team, currently consisting of Project Managers located in Denmark, USA, Brazil, and China.  This position will be located in one of Danfoss Sites in Nordborg or Kolding, Denmark. The key challenge in this position is to successfully initiate, plan, and design projects with excellent execution and control to be delivered on time while maintaining quality and cost targets.

Plan and manage sourcing projects with a proactive and agile mindset
As Sourcing Project Manager, you will be responsible for a range of effective and efficient implementations of approved projects from end-to-end, ensuring all expectations and deliverables are met. This will include forming and managing team resources, timelines, action planning and follow up, cost optimization analysis, manage investments and project expenses, and secure committed supplier relationships. To do so, you will involve participants from several parts of the organization. Furthermore, your key responsibilities will be: 

• To create continuous Contribution margin effect for technical and sourcing projects by assigning stakeholders on all levels to obtain project acceptance.
• Effective management of all assigned resources to secure successful implementations as well as capital funding for tooling and fixtures.
• Work with suppliers, internal customers, management and stakeholders to identify, visualize and mitigating potential risks for the projects.
• Communicating the project status to all relevant people involved. This could include regular reports, PowerPoint presentations, or other means of communication. 

Drive the procurement agenda in a global matrix organisation
There is more than one way into this position, besides your relevant educational background as BSc or MSc in business, technology, project management, or similar, and your strong experience within project management, management, procurement, operations, or/and technology. To be successful you will need to be able to stand your ground facing differing stakeholder expectations, and you have experience in mediating this type of situation. You are driven by seeing results and reaching your goals by overcoming obstacles. You should be comfortable with stringent use of global tools and processes, but you are also able to work in a high pace with a proactive mind-set and creative thinking.

Other key competencies in this role include:

• Experience with categories and components in hydraulic systems a strong preference.
• Certified Project Manager credentials and/or manufacturing experience is an advantage.
• Strategic and agile mindset and the drive to implement in a global matrix organisation.
• Strong problem solver with excellent analytical and communication skills. 

On a more personal level, you are a curious, independent person with a strong drive. You are a strong communicator and possess strong interpersonal skills which enable you to build strong stakeholder networks, interacting with people both inside and outside of the organisation. Last, but not least you are fluent in English, both in writing and in speech.

As you will be part of a truly global company you must expect a certain number of travel days, approx. 30% domestic and/or international.
