Do you want to combine your coding skills and theoretical knowledge within finance to assist us in developing the best tools for valuation and optimisation?
Join us and become our new Student Assistant in Analytics, Prices &Tools where you’ll influence decisions and handle tasks on your own, thereby contributing with your knowledge and expertise.
Your key tasks will be to
- validate daily price flows and develop tools for the validation of large amounts of market data
- assist our stakeholders across the entire company with requests for market data, tools or ad hoc analysis
- assist with the development of applications and tools in the department, e.g. tools for forecast, valuation and optimisation of complex energy assets – including having responsibility for your own programming tasks
- maintain master data in our database.
Your competences include that you
- are currently studying HA(mat.), mat-øk (BSc in mathematics-economics), mathematical modelling and computation, actuarial mathematics or similar and have at least two years left before graduating
- have hands-on experience with coding, e.g. Python, SQL, VBA, C++ or similar
- are able to handle several tasks simultaneously and thrive in an agile and changeable environment
- have a good understanding of financial instruments and derivatives.
However, the most important thing is that you are curious and eager to learn and apply your theoretical skills in a real-world setting as well as use your coding skills to solve the issues at hand.
