What you will do 

At Johnson Controls in Aarhus, Denmark, we are now looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join us in a junior role. Johnson Controls is a global organization with more than 120.000 employees dedicated to creating a safe, comfortable and sustainable future through efficient building technologies and solutions. 

In this role, you will join the EMEA Talent Acquisition (TA) Team, which was set up in September 2015 to centralize recruitment and talent attraction across Europe. We are growing the team to support the increased demand, and we have this fantastic opportunity for you to join us as a Talent Acquisition Specialist. You will report to the Talent Acquisition Manager for the Nordic region (Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland), and you will be based in Aarhus, Denmark, where you will work with TA, HR and the business in delivering the recruitment strategy.  

How you will do it 

As our new Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be accountable for the delivery of end-to-end recruitment, as you work closely with your business and the local HR team. As of such, it is great if you have experience and interest in working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. You will develop and execute tactical sourcing strategies aimed at generating candidate flows, which meet diversity and our overall recruitment goals. 

Your primary tasks include: 

• Profile meetings ▸ Setting up and conducting initial meetings with HM and HR in order to uncover the needs of the business.
• Sourcing ▸ Creating jobads and distributing through relevant channels.
• Search ▸ Actively pursuing future talents.
• Interviews ▸ Setting up interviews with candidates.
• Selection ▸ Cooperate with HM and HR to finalize hire.
• Administrative work ▸Ensuring the optimal candidate flow through our ATS.
• Employer branding initiatives designed to promote Johnson Controls as an employer of choice.

What we look for 

This is a great opportunity, ideally for someone with a theoretical and/or practical background in recruitment/HR, or perhaps someone looking to move into this field with perhaps a sales or customer-focused background. We will support you with the right training and development to ensure you succeed. We are open to new graduates. 

For this role, it is essential that you have a business level proficiency or are native in Danish and English. You will need to have great communication, organization and prioritization skills with the ability to drive a customer-focused approach, managing both your stakeholders and candidates with updates on progress and status. You should be naturally curious, persistent and have a drive to deliver a best-in-class service, while adding commercial value to the process with the knowledge you accumulate of the market, the business and the organization.
