Team Lead – Process Engineering Nacelle

About the position

For our Process Engineering department in Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy we are looking for a committed and motivated team lead for our Nacelle team.

Process Engineering is responsible for setting, implementing and maintaining the production engineering standards applied within our Nacelle and Blade plants worldwide. Furthermore, we are involved in the establishment of new production plants as well as new product introductions.
 

 

About the role

As team lead in Process Engineering department you will be responsible for the overall management and prioritization of tasks within the department as well as for the daily management of the department and its 10+ international employees. You will be coaching, sparring, recruiting, having one-to-one dialogues, PMP(MUS), continues feedback etc. with employees and colleagues. You will develop your team and ensure the right competencies and skills are available both now and in the future.

 

You will also be closely monitoring the department’s budget in close cooperation with our CF function

 

An important part of the role is development of the future strategy within the area of responsibility and to have the strategic overview for process development and roadmap as well as ensure Best Practice sharing across plants and product portfolio.

 

You will be responsible for alignment with internal customers, colleagues and various other stakeholders

About you

The ideal candidate is a strong team lead with several years of experience within engineering, manufacturing or similar, combined with people management skills from a global environment and you have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within a relevant area. You have strong process and LEAN skills and a good understanding for these areas in general.

 

To be successful in this role you also:

• are a strong team player with a result-oriented mindset and capable of managing and motivating the members of your team
• have a structured approach to your work and are able to handle simultaneous assignments without losing overview
• are capable of cooperating with various levels of the organization and across different cultures
• thrive in a dynamic and international environment and you have good cooperation and communication skills
• possess excellent English skills both orally and in writing
