Our Oral Protein Formulation Unit (OPF) is looking for a dedicated, professional and enthusiastic new colleague. We are on a voyage towards the development and production of break- through oral formulations of proteins.

 

About the team

Oral Analytical development is part of Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control (CMC) Development, a sub-division of Research & Development. 

We are responsible for solid state characterization and development and validation of analytical methods. Furthermore, we are responsible for analytical support and QC release of oral protein products for preclinical and clinical trials.

 

The job
You will be joining a team of dedicated colleagues, both scientists and laboratory technicians. As Analytical Scientist, you will be responsible for analytical development and validation of analytical methods including chromatographic methods (HPLC/UPLC) and methods for solid dose formulation (e.g. dissolution).

Other key tasks include support to stability, formulation, process development and solid state characterization.

You contribute actively to ensure documentation of the analytical work to the right quality level and maintain the quality system in the team. On an ongoing basis you will take responsibility for ensuring that the facility and the equipment is validated and functioning for the purpose. Writing deviations and change requests and driving improvement tasks will also be a crucial part of your responsibility. 

You will take part in planning the different tasks and have a constructive collaboration with our internal stakeholders including Oral formulation and process development, Quality Assurance, Production and Research organisation.  

 

Qualifications
You hold an MSc or PhD in Pharmacy, Engineering or a related field. Ideally, you have a background from the pharmaceutical industry and experience with analytical support and with analysis of proteins and/or tablet, capsules or other solid dosage forms.
