ECCO Sko A/S in Bredebro is looking for an ambitious Business Controller to join Corporate Finance. The small and specialised Business Controlling team is responsible for challenging the performance of the business. You will be part of this small team reporting to the Vice President for Corporate Finance. Through your professional and personal skills, we expect you can help drive the continued performance of the ECCO Group. For the right candidate this position is a stepping-stone towards taking a managerial role in one of ECCO´s units within 2-4 years. Job Profile: •Business controlling within a predefined area of the business, in this case Capital controlling. •Evaluation of investment requests and subsequent follow up on ROI. •Evaluation of net working capital performance. •Assessment foreign exchange impact on business performance and liaising with Group Treasury on improvement initiatives. •Engaging with stakeholders and business unit leaders within area of specialisation. •Making recommendations to the Managing Board of ECCO on financial performance improvement initiatives. •Representing Corporate Finance on cross-departmental projects and workshops. •Support internal stakeholders on financial topics. Qualifications and Work Experience: •You have a theoretical background on the level of Bachelor, HD or Master within economics combined with solid professional experience as an controller, finance manager or as an auditor. •You are an experienced IT user, especially with MS Office. It will be an advantage if you have experience with a larger ERP system (preferably SAP). •You thrive on challenges; enjoy having more things to do at the same time and working in a very dynamic environment. •You are quality-oriented and meet deadlines. •You can work independently, but also enjoy working in groups and leading the way if necessary. •Corporate language is English which you master in speech and in writing. •Travelling is part of the job and you should expect on average 30 travelling days per year. •This is a challenging and exciting position in a dynamic environment where initiatives and ideas are highly appreciated.
