Job Description
Danfoss Cooling - Industrial Refrigeration is looking for a Business Development Manager in Denmark, Germany, France or the United Kingdom with location in one of the central Danfoss sales offices. You will become part of a truly global team consisting of dedicated and enthusiastic professionals. Your role will be business development of industrial heat exchangers product portfolio within the industrial refrigeration product group in Europe. You will be commercially accountable for business results. Together with sales you will visit customers and participate in building up heat exchange know-how within the industrial refrigeration sales team in the region. You can expect up to 50% travel activities per year in this position. Industrial refrigeration is a B2B environment with focus on heavy machinery and production facilities. Job sites visits including to some of the hazardous areas might be needed. Your main tasks include deploying a winning heat exchanger strategy, communicating market needs back to the product management team and influencing market-based pricing structure. Working with colleagues across functions and locations is key in achieving this successfully. As a person, you are a self-starter with a strong ability to “move” things in the right direction. You are analytical and a strong team player who can interact and communicate well with others across borders and cultures.
Background and skills
To be considered for this position, you must min. have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering/marketing combined with commercial and technical experience internationally as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Min. 5 years of experience from the heat exchanger area, preferably industrial refrigeration
- Experience within product management/business development or sales functions
- Experience from working in a complex, international and matrix environment
- Work experience in the HVAC or refrigeration industry is a plus
- Fluency in written and spoken English (other languages are an advantage)
