Novo Nordisk is seeking a Student Assistant for our Product Supply Financial Planning & Analytics department. PS Financial Planning & Analytics is responsible for a broad range of Business Intelligence and Analytics tasks in Product Supply which is a global oriented manufacturing organisation with more than 14,000 engaged colleagues globally.
About the department
The right candidate will be part of an ambitious, globally oriented analytics team who strives on delivering world class Business Intelligence (BI) and Advanced Analytics solutions to our colleagues in the support functions across Product Supply. Our department is anchored in Bagsværd and consist of 9 employees who drive development and maintenance of our BI tools, data and analytics together with the other BI teams across the global organisation.
We seek a skilled and engaged Student Assistant who is passionate about working with data and analytics for a position that will be supporting our further Business Intelligence and Analytics journey across Product Supply.
The position
As Student Assistant you will work with a vast amount of information sources describing our manufacturing processes, costs and quality measurements of the products that Product Supply delivers to our patients. In your role you will transform data in to decision foundation which will enable Product Supply to make even more data driven decisions and priorities.
You will work together with other Data Analysts work on creating new insights by extracting, cleaning, transforming and visualising data. You will also help ensure that the existing reports are updated and maintained in collaboration with our off-shoring centre in India.
Qualifications
You have recently started on a Master degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Economy or similar. You have proven excellent results from your studies. You have a basic understanding of data modelling, data cleansing, data visualisation, programming or statistical models. Perhaps you know tools such as SQL, Alteryx or Tableau or see yourself as a fast learner with a solution and service oriented mind set.
You have a key interest in transforming data to insights for the line of business to take relevant action on. You have solid language skills in English and strong communication skills written and verbally. You are outgoing, structured and see yourself as an executer who gets the job done on time without compromising the quality in your deliverables. You enjoy building new solutions for your customers and you take a pride in helping your colleagues across various functions in a global oriented business. You deliver solutions when they are needed and enjoy working in an informal atmosphere where flexibility and responsibility goes hand in hand.
