We are looking for an IT Operations Specialist for Asset Management (AM) with experience in processes and preferably MS SQL, including a solid understanding of generic business needs but also general understanding of Technology and IT.   We offer the possibility to become part of a team with strong IT and business competences that successfully has built an integrated and global operational platform for Nordea Asset Management.  

Your future responsibilities

The team is responsible, in coordination with business, Group IT and vendors, for continuously and proactively improve operational stability in order to ensure high level of user and customer satisfaction.    

What you'll be doing:   

  • Design and setup MS SQL based applications including scheduling.   
  • Monitoring of MS SQL infrastructure and applications.   
  • Ensuring security compliance.   
  • Updating of MS SQL based applications   
  • Plan, create, test and restore backups.   
  • Solving incidents related to the MS SQL and applications.   
  • Interact with Business, Group IT and vendors.   
  • Act as a technical resource for Asset Management.

  • Bachelor or Master in engineering or science   
  • Certifications within MS SQL preferable version 2016 / 2017   
  • ITIL v.3 Foundation   
  • Knowledge of Hadoop   
  • Knowledge of Azure SQL and/or Azure DWH   
  • English spoken and written on professional level   
  • Business area knowledge with Asset Management areas
