You refer to Senior Manager Thomas Vinther Vestergaard. “In this highly visible position, you are at the frontier for defining future IT initiatives. You secure high business satisfaction by being the go-to partner for the business, advocating the business’ interests in IT. Collaborating with a broad network within Grundfos, you develop a deep expertise and get a full understanding of our business,” Thomas explains. Hvad drejer jobbet sig om? As a business relationship manager, you ensure that our Information Service (IS) strategies are in line with business demands and needs, and that our project portfolio fully supports the business strategies. In the role as a trusted advisor, you will serve as the link between the IS department and our Sales, Service and Marketing business units, making sure that IS can forecast business activities within sales and marketing. You will help prioritise projects, ensuring that projects are aligned with the technology to best support the overall business strategy. The job also requires that you follow up on launched business IT initiatives, making sure that they run in the right direction. “You enter into a matrix organisation with multiple stakeholders, and your main challenge will be to use your skills and experience to make things happen in the cross field between IS and the business. You get a central and important role in challenging both parts, making clear what the best IT solutions for Grundfos are in the long run,” Thomas says. Hvad skal der til for at ansøge? You have a degree within business combined with 5+ years of experience from a sales and marketing department in a larger global company, giving you solid insight into business processes. You bring a broad knowledge of IT-based business solutions, ideally from a larger Danish company. Any knowledge of SAP Business Suite is an advantage, and you have excellent communication skills in English. If you know Danish, it is a big plus. “On a personal level, you are open-minded and confidence-inspiring, and with your emphatic nature, holistic thinking and great interpersonal skills, you are able to impact and collaborate with various stakeholders at management and top level. At the same time, you work with a constant focus on results, using your general business acumen. Finally, you are organised and can keep an overview of several activities at a time,” Thomas finishes.
