For our Procurement Methods, Processes and Systems (MPS) department in Brande, Denmark we are looking for a Senior SCM Specialist to lead internal and cross-functional process development and improvement projects. The MPS team has the ownership of SIPEX processes PROCURE for the Wind Power Division globally. We define WP standards and provide tools and support for all core procurement processes, e.g. supplier and market analysis, commodity strategy, advanced negotiation concepts (e.g. eAuctions), supplier management (basic qualification, segmentation, evaluation and development), contract management. Members of the team represent the procurement function in important interface processes (Engineering Change Management, Gateway process, PM (at) Siemens / T-LoA participation) to include our functional expertise. What are my responsibilities? You will be responsible for a selection of core processes and tools from list below: act as the first point of contact for internal and external inquiries improve the process discipline e.g. as a trusted consultant, by means of consistent and clear communication / training or individual follow up with the internal customers coordinate interface topics, e.g. in the collaboration between commodity management and project procurement ensure alignment with corporate governance and functional excellence Define and align procurement processes with procurement interfaces (Commodity Managers, Supply Managers and Supplier Quality Managers) and the cross functions (Engineering, SCM, QM&EHS, Projects) - this includes the review and release of procedures in Document House and Process House as well as planning and conducting trainings to ensure successful roll-out Supervise outsourced services (registering suppliers in the respective tools, inquiring supplier certificates for basic qualification and evaluations, administration of eAuctions) Optimize tools in the area of responsibility, define requirements and clearly communicate those to the service providers for tool implementation Consult the commodity managers in the use of advanced negotiation concepts (ANC) and eAuctions, establish the events on the IT platform and ensure their implementation according to the agreed and communicated rule set Monitor the process discipline and prepare monthly reports and quarterly KPI meetings for management as well as facilitate internal risk control plans Initiate benchmarking activities in order to gain information about methods, processes and systems from other Siemens divisions or players in similar industries Prepare the organization for internal and external audits, guide auditors through their assessment and follow up on observations and findings to ensure on-time closing What do I need to qualify for this job? You have a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent professional background, combined with minimum 5 years of experience in an international company, preferably within Procurement or Supply Chain Management · You have solid experience in project management or consulting · You are a strong communicator and collaborator and can use your personality to easily convince internal customers and cross functional partners to welcome or embrace change, overcoming typical initial scepticism or resistance · You work systematically and can establish a comprehensive framework for your area of responsibility, which you take ownership on in a self-driven, assertive and quality-oriented way You are proactive and strive for improving your area of responsibility · You possess excellent English and IT skills, including SAP In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
