For our Procurement department we are looking for a Buyer / Senior Buyer responsible for distribution parts for our wind power energy business in Brande, Denmark. This is a varied role, where you will be responsible for optimizing supply and generating a contribution to operating profit while taking into account optimization of the total cost of ownership of your commodity. What are my responsibilities? · Contribute to the global Commodity strategy by implementing and communicating the strategy in the region to ensure on time and cost-efficient supply of high materials which fulfil quality requirements · Define and implement negotiation concepts and strategies to maximize savings. Negotiate and document global frame contracts · Apply the usage of eProcurement tools (eRfX, eAuction/ eBidding) to improve the Procurement processes and efficiency · Generate, document and implement savings; plan, monitor and report on relevant KPIs and ensure the target achievement within the respective Commodity in the region to contribute to the success of the business and make results transparent · Support in the Implementation of alternative procurement sources (e.g. VMI) · Maintain regular contacts with interface partners such as Engineering, Supply Management and Supplier Quality departments and other internal stakeholders · Perform Supplier Management, Qualification and Development to ensure an optimum supply chain What do I need to qualify for this job? You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Business Administration / Engineering) · You have 2+ years of professional experience in a global environment within the areas of strategic procurement or supply chain management · You are an experienced negotiator with a proven track record and strong analytical skills · You have a systematic and structured approach to your assignments · As a person you are highly motivated, open minded and able to work independently · You have excellent English skills both orally and in writing, and you are an advanced user of Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and SAP · You prefer working in groups, including groups with different backgrounds and origins In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
