Connecting sensors, devices and systems are essential parts in making our assets smart. We are developing the future connected vessels and supply-chains; therefore we are seeking experts to strengthen our capabilities in connectivity, sensor and edge technologies, including how to deploy the technologies in operations.

• A key role in Future Solutions - Mobility and Connectivity team, where you will be working with expert colleagues in IT, Digital, Commercial & Operations.
• Being part of an experienced team, that is responsible for designing, developing and implementing our IoT and connectivity infrastructure (terrestrial as well as off-shore).

Key responsibilities
• Establish the right sensor and edge capabilities, enabling our customers getting cargo and supply-chain insights
• Build a strong eco-system of vendors basis our strategy of collaborative mind-set and interoperability
• Expert engineering capabilities, being able to challenge vendors to achieve excellence in quality and cost
• Actively participate in the product lifecycle from design to deployment and future road mapping
• Engage across organization to bring best practice collaboration and take visible responsibility
• Influence and develop the future mobility and connectivity strategy
• Establish and execute deployment strategies for our global operations
We are looking for
• Relevant higher education & experience with sensor and connectivity experience.
• Most likely background from RF industry, telecom or other parallel industry.
• Person who has technology at heart and business at mind.
• Ability to zoom out without losing sight of details.
• High “bandwidth” in terms of managing many concurrent activities, without losing focus.
• A well networked person with extensive relationships in relevant industries.
• Structure and professional in approach, with a strong performance & solution orientation.
•The ideal candidate should have a certain level of seniority.
•Self-ignited and self-running person who can work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English)
