Join NNIT’s Life Sciences Advisory department and become our new Consultant Director for our Clinical area. We are on the forefront of advising clients across Europe specifically in the Danish, Swiss and German markets on the latest services and changes within the Clinical area and the IT impact on the Life Science industry.    

We offer you a unique opportunity to operate in the sweet spot, where domain expertise meets client needs. In this role you will define NNITs vision within the Clinical area and seek to convert the trends to repeatable services from advisory over implementation to managed services. The purpose is to build a strong NNIT Clinical brand in the Life Sciences market.  

It’s a dual role, as you on the one hand will drive the growth of the Clinical area as well as developing relevant services for our current and future customer. On the other hand, you will work closely with NNITs customers in sponsoring projects within the Clinical field.   

You will head a team of clinical advisory consultants. This includes defining, setting and executing the clinical agenda across NNIT.   

Your responsibilities as Consultant Director for Clinical Advisory   

In the Life Sciences Advisory team, you will join an exciting international department with highly skilled colleagues that have a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and the ability to bridge this knowledge with IT. The other business areas being Regulatory Affairs, Laboratory and Pharmaceutical Production.  

You will be responsible for: 

• Developing the Clinical Business Area across NNIT globally and lead a team of 3 direct reports.  
• Establishing and executing the Clinical Business Area Plan 
• Building the necessary Clinical competencies, capabilities and knowledge in NNIT to deliver successful projects within the domain 
• Planning, setting up and driving education of NNIT within Clinical including US, China, Philippines and Prague 
• Ensuring a close collaboration with a multitude of stakeholders within NNIT, where your knowledge from the Clinical area will strengthen our company’s strategic aspirations in Life sciences   

 This position involves:   

• Active participation in sales, and growing existing and new clients within the Clinical area 
• Orchestrating business development activities related to the development of new offerings that will support our growth within Clinical in Life sciences   
• Working closely with European and US clients, using your experience from the Clinical area to advise and assist Life Sciences companies in a vast array of projects   
• Participation in relevant conferences and giving speeches 
• Strong involvement in relevant networks with authorities (FDA, EMA etc.) and standardization organizations (ISO, DS etc.) 

 You will be part of the international Life Sciences Advisory Team   

The Life Sciences Advisory team is an ambitious team of approximately 10 people working from Denmark, Switzerland and Germany. We appreciate openness, honesty and a winning attitude and expect that you hold these personal skills and can quickly integrate with the other team members.    

Our customers expect us to know about upcoming trends and changes within the Clinical area, Regulatory Affairs and Laboratory, and that we are at the forefront in terms of advice and solutions. The team is part of the Life Sciences unit responsible for selling to and advising our customers on business and technology as well as designing and implementing IT solutions and applications.    

Your qualifications and experiences   

• You hold an MSc degree in Life sciences or IT and you have at least 5-8 years of consulting experience from the Clinical area in the pharmaceutical industry. You have a sound understanding of IT and can bridge your professional experience from the pharmaceutical industry with IT.   
• You bring experience with Clinical processes either from line-of-business in a Pharma company or from a CRO 
• You know one or more IT solutions on CTMS, eTMF or CDW and have a sound understanding of the link between business processes and IT 
• You are used to advising and building trust on all levels 
• As a person you have a curious nature and are interested in new technologies       
• Fluency in oral and written English is a must  

The position can be based in either Denmark, Switzerland or Germany. It is a global role focusing on markets in Denmark, Germany, Switzerland, China and USA. Hence you must expect 20-30 travel days a year in the outlined countries.
