Contract Manager for IT contract and vendor management

Do you want to be part of our Group’s digital transformation and work with key IT contracts and vendors?

Join us and become Contract Manager in IT Procurement where you’ll be responsible for managing and optimising our IT contract and vendor portfolio, while supporting and participating in the implementation of structured contract and vendor management in our IT department.

Your key tasks will be to

• be commercially responsible for managing a wide-ranging portfolio of IT contracts
• handle commercial issues arising from contracts, including issues related to vendor performance, contract interpretation and licensing
• build relationships with key stakeholders to support the realisation and optimisation of commercial value from the contract portfolio
• develop and execute on vendor plans with IT managers and business stakeholders to support the realisation of enterprise objectives and develop vendor relationships
• proactively suggest improvements to processes, procedures, workflows and organisational structures related to contract and vendor management.

The ideal Contract Manager will have significant influence on the prioritisation of actions within the area and the strategic and tactical development of the contract management function.

Your competences include that you

• have a cross-disciplinary background based on a bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics, law or engineering, with a broad as well as in-depth understanding of corporate IT
• thrive in an international environment and are able to create good relationships with your stakeholders – internally and externally
• are familiar with negotiating with vendors and taking responsibility for planning and executing the negotiation process
• have experience with the management of IT or technology contracts from a similar position
• speak and write English fluently.

Furthermore, some of your characteristics include that you have a structured approach to your work, in order to create overview of and ensure ongoing follow-up on contracts, you take pride in a proactive and value-creating relationship with your stakeholders, and you take ownership of your tasks. Additionally, we value colleagues who have a positive mindset, are team players and are driven troubleshooters.   

Your experience and knowledge may have been gained from a comparable large organisation, from a corresponding position on the supplier or buyer side or from a role as consultant, but our preferred candidate is someone who is willing and eager to learn.

You should expect some travelling in relation to your work, primarily domestically. Some of the stakeholders are located in Virum and Skærbæk near Fredericia.
