Corporate Counsel
At AGC Biologics A/S, we are growing rapidly and we are looking for a Corporate Counsel to support our EU operations. Ideally, we are looking for an attorney-at-law with a commercial mindset, who has been working in an international environment.

You will act as a trusted advisor for our EU leadership team with a large numbers of stakeholders across our business units and locations. You will be pivotal in our contract negotiations where you bring your deep understanding of international contract law combined with your excellent commercial understanding, which will support the overall positioning of AGC Biologics as the preferred contract manufacturing Partner.

Representing Legal in EU, you will be collaborating closely with the business and you will be involved in many complex business transactions.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Heavily involved in commercial transactions handling all legal matters on global accounts, including review, draft, negotiation and interpretation of legal documents
  • Developing and implementing compliant business practices
  • Responding to urgent ad hoc legal inquiries
  • Managing, developing and improving processes for handling legal issues
  • Identifying and implementing relevant business critical legal projects
  • Advise on commercial/corporate and labor issues and negotiate with external parties on behalf of the Company, where needed or appropriate

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Hold a master’s degree in Law or Business Law, supplemented by at least 5 years post graduate experience from an international company or a law firm – ideally both
  • Thorough experience and expertise with international contract law
  • Proven experience with the majority of task listed above
  • Flexibility to travel when needed
  • Experience liaising with top management.
