Do you want to be part of a high performing team in one of the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies? Then you might be the right person for Novo Nordisk, as we are currently searching for an enthusiastic Corporate Counsel to be part of the Pharma Law team.

About the department
The Pharma Law team is part of Global Legal & Patents, located in Novo Nordisk’s headquarters in Bagsværd, Denmark. We provide legal advice within a broad range of areas including clinical development, product registration and approval, scientific dialogue, product safety, marketing and distribution of our products. You will be part of an ambitious, dynamic and international team consisting of 10 employees who strive to deliver high quality results in close collaboration with our global legal and business stakeholders, including our 250 global legal colleagues situated at +40 locations around the world.
 
The position
We offer an exciting and challenging position as Corporate Counsel with a focus on reviewing, drafting and negotiating complex contracts, especially in relation to outsourcing of clinical trials, and providing legal and compliance advice and tools to our business stakeholders, including Global Development, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, Patient Relations and Global Marketing teams. 

To succeed you will need to engage a diverse range of stakeholders within the business and across the global legal organisation. You will have independent responsibility for key tasks but also work together with the senior lawyers in the team.  

The work places will be in Bagsværd and Søborg, Denmark. As part of the global legal organisation, you would also be involved with cross-functional global legal projects and, in addition, various opportunities, both in Denmark and abroad, offer potential for further personal development.
 

Qualifications  

• Law degree
• 2-3 years pharma industry experience and/or experience from a major law firm or inhouse legal department preferred
• Knowledge of and strong interest in international business and the pharma industry
• Personal drive and a “can-do” dialogue-oriented and service minded attitude, which enable you to establish strong professional relations internally and externally
• International mind-set and a desire to work for Novo Nordisk globally
• Solid attention to detail combined with the capacity to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in English on a professional level is required. Danish language skills are not required.
