Sekstant™ Global Guidance (see below) will provide reporting data to container operators wherever the reefers are located in the world. The system will enable new levels of automation and data collection, changing the way how operators can manage their reefer transport chain.

Key responsibilities

MCI’s future Big Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing all Reefer Data. You will become the expert in analyzing and processing data and create a framework for handling “Big Data” from Global reefer container fleet. Further, you will be responsible for developing tools for internal use and pass on the data to the R&D department, Service, Sales and Claim Team etc. You will be one of the key persons to help build up the new digital eco system Sekstant™ Global Guidance

All collected and analyzed “Big Data” will be used to improve operational performance of the star cool reefer machine and create new solutions and features.

We are looking for

In order to succeed in this job, it is expected that you have:

•Experience in collecting and analyzing “Big Data”
•Experience working with machine learning & Big data, R ( program language )
•Experience with database design
•Strong skills in data visualization
•A degree at BSc or MSc level in a relevant engineering or computer science discipline
•Effective planning and organizational skills, with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced work environment.
•Personal skills to successfully manage relationships with key stakeholders
•A structured and detail oriented approach to your daily tasks
•A sharp analytic mind-set and strong business acumen competencies
