Export, License and Urban Development (ELUD) has an ambitious growth strategy and we are looking for an experienced and dynamic personality with strong financial skills and business acumen. You will be the finance partner to our business units and supporting the profitability and volume growth of our highly successful portfolio of brands in close cooperation with market teams and local partners.

The position

You are offered an opportunity to work with financial controlling in an organisation, where it truly matters and lead the long-term profitable growth of the international premium brands across key markets. Together with a range of internal stakeholders across functions, and with our local partners you will be responsible for the financial data, supporting the business units with reporting, analysing and recommending actions that increases our financial performance.

 

Your other responsibilities are:

• Financial controlling of ELUD business units and entities.
• Management reporting for ELUD division incl. subsidiaries and associated companies.
• Secure reporting is in compliance with group policy and local rules.
• Assuring adequate level of internal controls.
• Reconciliation and validation of financial data.
• Assuring correct data settlement in between SAP ECC, SAP COPA and BI.
• Assisting business units, functions and subsidiaries in ELUD in connection with month end closing and ad hoc analysis.
• Analyzing and reporting on market & brand profitability.
• Being a financial partner to business units, functions and subsidiaries in ELUD.
• Driving, coordinating and improving the financial forecasting processes in ELUD.
• Driving, coordinating and improving the budgeting process in ELUD.
• Driving, coordinating and improving IT tools (SAP, BI and Excel).

 

The profile

We expect you to combine a master degree in finance or other relevant economic background with 7-8 years of experience within controlling, business consulting, accounting or similar. You are a business-oriented finance professional with strong accounting skills and excellent commercial understanding. 

You possess strong analytical and numerical skills and are able to consume large quantities of numbers and make the appropriate recommendations. Curious about the export and license business and empathetic about cultural differences characterizing a multicultural environment. 

You proactive take ownership and secure implementations and improvements in the area of your responsibilities. You are effective at working with stakeholders at all levels of seniority. A team player with strong communication skills and well developed collaboration skills.

You present yourself as structured, process oriented and flexible towards many tasks. You have a high work capacity with a low stress level. You are of course fluent in English and are able to travel up to 20 days a year.

As a person one of your most remarkable characteristics is your continuous strive for results and thirst for great. You are a strong communicator with excellent presentation skills, and with an ability to influence and excite internal and external stakeholders and secure buy in to growth programs. Even when things get tough, you stay positive, proactive and maintain the helicopter perspective knowing you have the details under control..

You are flexible, service minded and can adjust to the situation and the requirements. All of this you combine with a team spirit and focus on succeeding together with others.

The position is located in Copenhagen and reports to the Senior Director of ELUD Finance.
