Our present Head of Maintenance and Tooling has been challenged with new tasks within the Aalborg organization. The 48-strong workforce is therefore in need of a new Manager who can support, maintain and develop the team even more in order for it to keep the Aalborg plant running smoothly and most effectively. The ideal candidate will hold an engineering/machinist background and have 3-5 years of managing experience. Maintenance of equipment and facility build-up experience is not a need but will be seen as a plus. What are my responsibilities? As the manager of 48 employees you will be placed centrally in Aalborg but have your employees placed all around the facilities. Your main responsibilities will cover: · Verify, manage and keep agreed budgets within the team. · Support and plan the level of education in the team regarding use of SAP/SAP PM as a tool. · Manage and secure the use of TPM. · Participate in sub-supplier evaluation and selection and negotiate cooperation contracts in collaboration with the Purchase Department. · Motivate the team in their verification and optimization of energy flows. · Support and manage the team in using tools as Root Cause analysis, LEAN etc. · Develop training material in general. · Ensure all operations are conducted in compliance with legislation. What do I need to qualify for this job? · You have a relevant background and 3+ years of experience from a similar position. · You have a hands-on experience and preferably a craftsmanship education from the past. · You have a high knowledge of relevant standards, legislation and helping tools regarding maintenance and furthermore, you know your way around common technical tools like e.g. SAP PM · As a person you are proactive with good analytical skills and you have an open-minded approach to people and new ways of thinking. · You thrive in a multicultural and international environment and are capable of interacting professionally across all organizational levels. · Furthermore, you are a skilled communicator with excellent English skills both orally and in writing and you are an experienced user of Microsoft Office.
