About the position

For our Project Management Office in Offshore Sales & Projects, we are looking for an experienced Head of Project Documentation Management. The PMO is responsible for the standards of Project Management in Offshore, competency management, project team coaching, and management reporting; it also delegates Project Documentation Managers and Project Coordinators into our execution projects. The candidate for this position will be responsible for managing and training our group of Project Documentation Managers, improving our processes and systems, and securing the interests of project execution in the Documentation community in Offshore. 

What are my responsibilities?

  • You are the line manager of a team of approx. 15 project documentation managers, which you delegate into our execution projects
  • You implement and improve standards within project documentation management
  • You increase efficiency in project documentation management by driving process design and the implementation of suitable IT solutions
  • You actively participate in the wider Documentation community in the Offshore Business Unit, aiming at creating an efficient E2E flow of documentation

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • You hold a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in a relevant field
  • You have 5+ years of experience working in a project management role of large infrastructure projects (e.g. as a package manager or document controller)
  • You are highly knowledgeable about best practice in project documentation management and relevant, state-of-the-art IT systems
  • Experience in implementation of IT systems and pertaining trainings is a plus
  • As a person, you are structured, persistent, and driven by raising efficiency 
  • You excel at building and maintaining a cross functional network to improve processes collaboratively 
  • Your written and spoken English are (close to) that of a native speaker
