National Oilwell Varco Subsea Production Systems (NOV SPS) designs and manufactures flexible pipes and specific, innovative products for the offshore oil and gas industry. As an HSE Advisor within our NOV Flexibles team you will be a part of a highly motivated HSE team with 6 employees in Denmark and a part of Global HSEQ group covering the whole Subsea Production System Business Unit.

You will be based and work from our Head Quarter in Brøndby and will frequently have working days at our manufacturing facility in Kalundborg. The HSE department are located at both sites.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan, execute and follow up on Audits - ISO14001, OHSAS18001 (both internal audits and selected supplier audits)
  • Host audits and visit and make HSE presentations (Clients and authorities)
  • Participate in projects HSE communication, risk and opportunities from tender to installation
  • Contract reviews and ensure we meet the expectations though out the projects phases
  • Clients communication in close cooperation with the operational and project departments
  • Supplier management administration as a part of the HSE management system
  • Ensure Chemical legislation and reporting to authorities are met.
  • Support the local Working Environment committee
  • Participate/facilitate risk assessments (APV, HIRA-sessions, Site contractors etc.).
  • Support and advice proactively daily business in administrations/office environment, test center and supplier management.
  • Participate in incident investigation and improvement
  • Ensure and support that HSE policies, procedures and legislation are met
  • Participate in improvements of the business in regard to the HSE strategy and focus areas.
  • Participate in the development of the HSE culture by involve and motivate co-workers as a part of the offshore business
  • Development and continuous improvements of HSE management system in close cooperation with other groups and departments

 

Qualifications

Qualifications and experience:

  • Dedicated HSE professional with at least 3 years’ experience, preferable from offshore business
  • Short to middle long-term relevant higher education
  • Education and working experience with OHSAS18001 and ISO14001
  • Lead auditor certification
  • Experience working with many documents at the same time, some of them complex.
  • Experience with Danish and maybe international occupational health legislation
  • Insight and knowledge of current Danish / international rules relevant to HSE in a large company
  • Good communication skills and the ability to present a case briefly and accurate 
  • Good IT skills, MS office package
  • ISO50001 experience is a plus
  • Proficient in English written and spoken language, Danish is as well also preferred.
  • Good cooperation skills across the organization and motivation for team results

  • Flexible for driving to Kalundborg
  • Flexible for some travels for supplier visits / audits (5-15 days/year)
